Extracurriculars

The GMS experience doesn’t stop when classes finish, campus stays open for students Monday through Friday until 5:00 pm. After school, students have access to a wide array of activities that cater to their unique interests. We offer sports, musical theater, robotics, woodshop, ceramics and other arts. Students also have the option of receiving homework help from our dedicated team of tutors. Because we believe every student should have access to everything GMS offers, all extracurriculars are available at no cost to families.

Sports + Athletics

GMS is committed to offering a comprehensive athletics program to encourage our students to become lifelong athletes. Throughout their three years, students have opportunities to participate in a softball, basketball, volleyball and tennis to name a few. Any student, regardless of ability or experience, is welcome.

Clubs + Electives

We believe its paramount for out students to have multiple opportunities to engage in a topics and ideas that are not typically explored in academic classes, allowing them to discover new interests and passions. Clubs and electives change year to year, depending on student interest. Clubs are led by students, allowing them to connect with peers who have similar interests, while electives are taught by teachers, sharing their passions and interests with students beyond that of the academics.

After-School Programs

Our After-School Program is open every day school is in session, and is completely free to all families. All students are welcome to stay and participate in homework club, spend some time in one of our art studios, or simply hang out with friends.

The GMS Musical

For over a decade, the Fall Musical has been a celebrated community event. It’s a chance for our students to take a risk and step outside their comfort zone. Whether on stage or backstage, students find a place that suits them and work together to create a spectacular show.

Robotics

Through the GMS VEX Robotics program, students explore engineering, teamwork, and leadership in a dynamic, student-driven environment that fosters innovation and resilience. Students design, build, and program robots while practicing collaboration, leadership, and joyful problem-solving.
